Bowie

Although the Bowie shape has a strong historical association with fighting knives, Dark Blades versions are designed primarily as practical outdoor tools. Depending on the individual build, they can be suitable for camping, hunting, bushcraft, food preparation and general field work.

Custom Bowie knives can vary considerably in size and construction. They may be large or compact, full tang or hidden tang, and fitted with carefully selected wood or antler handles. The characteristic clipped point and strong blade profile remain, while every finished knife receives its own proportions and personality.

Buffalo

The Buffalo is one of the largest outdoor knives in the Dark Blades range. It is designed to combine strong construction with efficient cutting for demanding camp and field work, including clearing vegetation, preparing shelter materials, processing firewood and food preparation. Each Buffalo is individually made, so its exact steel, dimensions, handle and finish can vary.

Bumblebee XL

The Bumblebee XL began with the original Bumblebee, a very compact knife designed around a three-finger grip. One of the greatest supporters of Dark Blades liked the small blade but suggested combining it with a full-size handle. That idea became the Bumblebee XL.

It keeps the compact, distinctive blade of the original model while providing a secure and comfortable full-hand grip. The result is an easy-to-carry knife with much better control during longer or more demanding cutting tasks.

Made from carefully selected high-carbon steel and finished with the same attention as every Dark Blades knife, the Bumblebee XL may look small and friendly—but it can bite when serious cutting performance is needed.

Custom

Most Dark Blades knives are created as original stock pieces, but selected custom projects are also accepted.

A custom build begins with the intended use of the knife. We can then discuss the general shape, dimensions, blade geometry, construction and selected materials. Every project must still remain recognisable as a Dark Blades knife, with practical performance at the centre of the design.

Because each knife is made individually, not every request or material combination will be suitable. When the idea fits the Dark Blades style and we believe in the project, we will be happy to develop it together.

Custom Bowie

The Custom Bowie is inspired by one of the most recognisable knife profiles in history.

Honey Badger

The Honey Badger is a strong, adaptable handmade bushcraft knife for general outdoor, camp and field work. Its individual versions can range from compact utility knives to larger full-tang tools, while retaining practical cutting geometry and a secure natural-material handle.

Mighty Eagle

“I can’t wait to take my Mighty Eagle with me.” That was the reaction of the new owner of one of the first Mighty Eagle knives.

Strength, cutting power, sharpness and visual character define this model. Like many Dark Blades designs, the Mighty Eagle began as a freehand marker sketch directly on the steel and was then fine-tuned at the grinder until the proportions and balance felt right.

Its long, slightly curved blade provides reach and weight for demanding outdoor and camp tasks, while the full-flat grind keeps it efficient during slicing and food preparation.

Cut? Easily. Chop? Certainly. Slice? A piece of cake.

Mini Cook

Sometimes a full-size chef’s knife is more than you need.

The Mini Cook is designed for smaller kitchen tasks such as peeling potatoes, trimming vegetables, preparing fruit and making quick, precise cuts. Its compact size makes it easy to control and convenient to reach for throughout the day.

Made from classic 1095 high-carbon steel, the thin blade can take an extremely fine edge and move through ingredients with very little resistance.

Small, sharp and highly practical, the Mini Cook brings serious cutting performance to everyday kitchen work.

Tiburon

Tiburón is the Spanish word for shark, and the name reflects both the appearance and the character of this knife.

The raised section along the spine resembles a shark’s fin, while the strong blade and confident proportions are designed for powerful, efficient outdoor performance.

The Tiburon is intended as a dependable companion for bushcraft, camping and general field work. It can assist with building a shelter, preparing firewood, cutting rope and handling food preparation around camp.

Like every Dark Blades knife, each Tiburon is individually made, so the exact dimensions, handle material and finish may vary from one piece to another.

A compact handmade EDC knife with a blade typically between 6 and 9 cm long.

Viper

The Viper is a compact handmade EDC knife designed for comfortable everyday carry and efficient cutting performance.

Depending on the individual version, the handle may provide either a full-size grip or a more compact three-finger hold. This allows each Viper to range from an extremely small utility knife to a slightly larger everyday companion.

The thin high-carbon-steel blade can take a very fine edge, giving the Viper an impressive bite for its size. It is well suited to opening packages, cutting cord, preparing food and handling the many small cutting tasks encountered during everyday use.

Each knife is individually made with selected natural handle materials, often antler, burl or wood chosen for its distinctive colour and grain.

Bear

The Bear is built for serious camp and outdoor work. With its large, heavy blade, it sits close to the boundary between a knife and a small axe.

It is designed for demanding tasks such as chopping, preparing firewood, batoning and building a shelter. At the same time, the high-carbon-steel blade can still take a sharp, precise edge, allowing the Bear to handle more controlled cutting tasks when needed.

When you head outdoors and do not want to carry an axe, saw and knife separately, the Bear is designed to cover a wide range of those jobs in one dependable tool.

Wolf

The Wolf is designed as the all-rounder of the Dark Blades outdoor range: powerful enough for demanding field work, yet controlled and manoeuvrable enough for precise cutting tasks.

It is slightly shorter and thinner than the Bear, making it easier to carry and more comfortable to use during detailed work, while still retaining the strength needed for bushcraft and general camp duties.

The generous belly of the blade also makes the Wolf suitable for hunting and food preparation. It may be slightly heavier than a dedicated hunting knife, but it offers an excellent balance between strength, control and versatility.

Wolverine

The Wolverine is a scaled-down version of the Wolf, created in response to hunters who wanted a smaller, lighter and more manoeuvrable knife.

Its shape follows the same design language as the Wolf and Bear, preserving the flowing lines, balanced proportions and attention to detail found throughout the Dark Blades outdoor range.

The compact high-carbon-steel blade offers excellent control for hunting, skinning, food preparation and detailed camp work, while remaining strong enough for general outdoor use.

The Cook

A good kitchen knife must cut exceptionally well. Everything else begins with that.

Comfort in the hand, visual appeal, edge retention and ease of sharpening are also important, and The Cook is designed to bring all of these qualities together.
